  •  You meet the main character Juno in the beginning when she first says 'Im pregnant'. We also meet her close/best friend who she calls to tell about her pregnacy. We meet her parents as she struggles and is scared to tell them; we meet her boyfriend as he is effectively introduced as the dad says 'whose the father' and it shows quick cuts and shots of her boyfriend.
  • First scenes are in a bedroom between 2 friends. The background shows a typical girls bedroom with posters, pictures, a phone and designs.
  • Humour such as 'how did you even generate enough P for 3 pregnacy tests?' 'Im guessing it looks like a sea monkey right no, it should look a little cuter, right?' 'Youre like the coolest person I've ever met and like you dont even have to try' 'I try really hard actually..'
  •  There are many different settings to relate to the teenage audience such as the bedroom, school, park and kitchen.
  • High key lighting 9/10 of the time.
